“The Sculpture Courtyard” Wedding in Fishtown
Smart, funny and easygoing, Maddy and Brendan brought the best energy to this hidden garden spot in Fishtown neighbourhood of Philadelphia. We started with a first look along the ivy and brick, Maddy in vintage gown, pulled in family for portraits, then slipped away for a quick wander with just the two of them.
Guests found their seats in the courtyard and the ceremony unfolded against the weathered arch witnessing sweet, personal, and full of laugh-through-tears moments. Cocktail hour rolled right in; the band kicked up, Swig kept everyone happily fed and hydrated, and Carly with her team ran the day like a pro.
Inside, the reception tables glowed with amber goblets and tall taper candles around wildflower buds, perfect with everyone’s vibrant outfits. Dancing spilled back outside with a fast, folk style, led by West Philly Squares band and loosened into free form, late night moves under the string lights. Somewhere in the mix, a very good service dog made a crowd pleasing cameo. Looking back brings a lot of joy experiencing this heartwarming day.
