The first time Gina and Anush met was by chance. It was early in the morning during a tough workout of 100+ people on the steps of Art Museum. That's where it all started and I've happened to be there while capturing that event for Philadelphia Magazine about 5 years ago. Two beautiful people from Brooklyn had a lovely idea for their wedding. Dress up as much as possible, then jump on a subway from Brooklyn to Manhattan and go to the infamous City Hall where people of all walks of life say "I do!" every day. And so they did, in a company of their best friends. Yoko and the girls wore kimonos and most of the guys wore tuxes.

Carrie and Frank's engagement in Ambler, PA
It's spring time, the trees are blooming, the birds are chirping and April is by far the best time of the year to take engagement photos. Ambler, PA provided us with a beautiful canvas for an engagement shoot.Carrie and Frank were brought together by the love of music when they were regularly going to festivals to see Phish, Grateful Dead and other bands. They had many overlapping circles of friends but their timelines would never work out. Eventually, they've met outside of the festival scene and one day found themselves on a beach, falling in love.I'm looking forward to their wedding in September in Valley Forge.
Nicole + Eric at Cairnwood Estate, Bryn Athyn
Nicole and Eric turned Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn into one big, grand house party. Think Gilded Age mansion, open terraces, and that refreshing breeze that follows you from the garden to the balcony.
After the first look by the fountain, we made the rounds like you do in a great historical home: a few portraits on the staircase, a quiet minute in the library, a spin through the great hall, then back outside as the gardens lit up in golden hour. Friends and family floated between rooms and lawns, laughing, snacking, and soaking in the views.
It felt elegant without trying too hard, a classic Philadelphia area venue with plenty of personality and endless spots for photos, from morning light to sunset glow.
